Bioshield Pocket® serves as an elective option for immediate prepectoral breast reconstruction for the protection of the implant/tissue interface. It aims to streamline the surgical procedure as the rehydrated membrane allows for quick wrapping of the implant without the need for complex tailoring — reducing intra-operative delays, lowering risks of implant damage, and minimising potential contamination.

Assembly Procedure
01
Rehydrate
Run threads through the "petal" holes. Rehydrate the mesh in the sterile tray with the smooth side facing the operator.

Position
Position the anterior surface of the implant on the membrane within a few seconds.
03
Assemble
Tighten the petals to the implant's posterior side creating a "purse string" assembly.
04
Secure
The meshed pattern and rough external surface ensure the implant remains securely in place during and after surgery.
